The Modacam Custom Barreled Action is built for serious rimfire shooters who demand precision, consistency, and reliability. This configuration pairs a premium Brux match-grade barrel with the MPA Elite Rimfire Action, delivering the performance required for modern rimfire competition.
The MPA Elite Rimfire Action utilizes the same internal components and manufacturing processes found in well-known Vudoo rimfire actions, with parts produced in the same facility. The action features a robust two-lug bolt design with a 60-degree throw, offering smooth operation, strong primary extraction, and fast, reliable cycling.
The Brux 1:14 twist barrel with a 1.20″ straight contour provides excellent rigidity and harmonic stability. The faster twist rate is well-suited for shooters looking to optimize performance with a wider range of ammunition and conditions, while maintaining the consistency required for PRS Rimfire and NRL22 competition.
Each barrel is professionally chambered by Jonathan Elrod of Modacam Custom Rifles and assembled with careful attention to detail to ensure proper headspace, smooth function, and repeatable accuracy. The result is a competition-ready barreled action built to perform at the highest level.

Purchasing through Ragged Hole is simple—just four quick steps:
Browse the catalog, apply filters as needed, and open the product page of the gun that best fits your needs and preferences.
Select the quantity and hit “Add to Cart.”
You’ll select FFL during checkout. You may need to ask the dealer to email a signed copy of their FFL to [email protected], referencing your order number. They must also authorize shipment to their address. This is a general list of FFL dealers and not necessarily a list of who we ship to.
When your firearm arrives, visit the FFL to complete the ATF Form 4473, background check, and any state paperwork. Bring valid photo ID (and permits, if required), pay the dealer’s transfer fee and taxes, then head to the range with your new purchase!
